How much do grillz cost in Mexico City?
Grillz at Grillz Mexico City cost from $1,200 MXN per tooth in silver. Chrome/dental gold is $1,500, 9K gold $4,200, 14K $6,000 and 18K $7,200 per tooth. Iced silver with moissanite starts at $2,400 and iced gold at $6,000 per tooth.
Do grillz damage your teeth?
No, removable custom-fit grillz don't damage teeth when cleaned and worn sensibly. Ours are built on a mould of your teeth and snap on, with no filing, drilling or glue. Problems come from poor fit or skipped cleaning.
Can I eat and drink with grillz in?
You should take them out to eat. Drinking water with them in is fine. Avoid sugary or dark drinks while wearing them and rinse afterwards.
How long do grillz take?
Plain pieces take 5–10 business days and gold or iced pieces 10–15. The clock starts once you approve the design and pay the deposit. Tell us about any deadline when you book.
Are they removable?
Yes, all our grillz are removable. You put them in and take them out yourself, no tools needed. We don't make permanent grillz.
How do I clean grillz?
Clean them with a soft brush, warm water and mild soap every time they come out. Dry them well and store them in their case. Avoid abrasive toothpaste, bleach and alcohol.
Is gold or silver better?
Silver is better as an affordable start; gold is better for frequent, lifelong wear. Sterling silver can darken and polishes back. Gold doesn't tarnish and keeps its colour.
I'm visiting Mexico City — is there enough time?
Yes, if you're staying at least 7–10 days and choose a plain piece. Book your mould in your first days in the city. If time runs out, we ship your grillz to any address in Mexico or abroad.
Do you ship across Mexico?
Yes, we ship everywhere in Mexico. We mail an impression kit, you courier it back and we ship your finished grillz by insured courier.
Do you do home visits?
Yes, we do home visits across Mexico City and the Valle de México. The travel fee depends on the area and is quoted when you book.
How much is the deposit?
A deposit is required before the metal is cast. Every piece is made only for you, which is why we ask for it. The balance is paid on delivery.
Does white or rose gold cost more?
No, white, yellow and rose gold cost the same at the same karat. Only moving from 9K to 14K or 18K changes the price.
What is moissanite?
Moissanite is a lab-created stone with sparkle very close to diamond. It's extremely hard and durable. It's the best value iced option.
Can I talk normally with grillz?
Yes, you can talk normally. You may notice a slight change on a few sounds for the first days. Most people adapt quickly.
What if they don't fit?
We adjust them at no extra cost. There's a try-on before final delivery to check fit and comfort.
Do you speak English?
Yes, we work in Spanish and English. The whole site is available in both languages.
How do I book my mould?
Book on WhatsApp at +971 52 695 7620, through the configurator or by emailing contact@grillzmexicocity.com. We confirm date, place and the studio address when you book.
Where is the studio?
The studio is in the Roma–Juárez corridor of Mexico City. The exact address is shared when your appointment is confirmed. We also do home visits.
How long does the mould take?
Taking the mould takes about 20 minutes. It's painless and done with dental silicone or a digital scan.
How many teeth can I cover?
You can cover anything from one tooth to full upper and lower sets. Most people choose 6 to 8 teeth per arch. Pricing is per tooth.
What are open face grillz?
Open face grillz are metal frames that show the centre of your natural tooth. They look lighter and can be made in any metal.
Can I sleep in my grillz?
No, we don't recommend sleeping in grillz. Take them out, clean them and store them dry in their case before bed.
Can I get grillz with braces?
No, an accurate mould isn't possible with braces. Wait until your treatment is finished and check with your dentist if unsure.
Do you make natural diamond grillz?
Yes, we make grillz with natural and lab-grown diamonds. Both are quoted per piece depending on stone size and count.
Do you charge in pesos?
Yes, all prices are in Mexican pesos (MXN). Published prices are per tooth.
Can I mix metals?
Yes, you can mix metals and styles in one set. For example gold fangs with the rest in silver; each tooth is charged by its metal.
